The Florida High Speed Rail was envisioned to ultimately service from South Florida to Jacksonville and Tallahassee.  After years of planning, the project was put on hold and ultimately scrapped.

I was responsible for program management and planning.  I helped to select and coordinate a proposal team of engineers, land planners, land use attorneys, lobbyists, as well as community outreach and environmental consultants. Working as a team, we answered the RFP which included thousands of pages of drawings, as well as construction and financing details. I also acted as a lobbyist, meeting with legislators in Tallahassee and Washington D.C.

This work was completed while employed by Centex Rooney Construction Company.
