This highly coordinated move was scheduled to take place in 2½ days, between 5pm on Friday and start of business Monday morning. During that time, all employees of Centex Rooney Construction would be moved from their old Cypress Creek headquarters in Ft. Lauderdale to a new facility in Plantation.
As Project Manager, Dave Rosenof managed a 1,000-activity F. F. & E. (furniture, fixtures and equipment) schedule . He was responsible for ordering and installation of all fixtures, modular office space, art, furniture, A/V equipment, telephone systems, network cabling, copy equipment, as well as coffee/vending machines. He also managed the actual move of the office contents and records of 120 employees.
This work was completed while Dave was employed by Centex Rooney Construction Services.
