Big Dog Construction Services Launches New Web Site!

After many sleepless nights, our NEW AND IMPROVED website is now online!

It showcases our services and portfolio of projects (stay tuned…we will fill in additional projects and descriptions in the days and weeks to come), as well as the design partners with whom we have worked.

The site features not only “Big Dog” projects, but also highlights the $1 billion in construction projects that Dave completed prior to starting our own company. This will provide a more complete picture of his impressive experience (in the humble opinion of his proud wife)! You will find bios for Dave and I, accolades, and even a link to read the fun book that we wrote together, Management Lessons from the Dog Park.

Dave now has the blog that he has wanted forever. We’ll be posting news, info about current projects, contractor tips, construction humor, and pages from our book. Be sure to check back often for updates and like us on social media at the bottom of the home page so you will see our updates.

Rockridge Holdings/DeLuca Family Foundation Buildout

Work is progressing on the tenant buildout for Rockridge Holdings and the DeLuca Family Foundation offices. Located on the penthouse floor of the Broward Financial Center building at 500 East Broward Blvd, the office offers breathtaking views of Ft. Lauderdale in every direction. The office will serve to manage the holdings of the DeLuca family, founders of the Subway Restaurant chain.

This prestigious Worth Avenue address, home to 20 of the highest-end condos on the island, features multi-million dollar residences with views of downtown Palm Beach as well as the ocean. Happy “National Dog Day”

At Big Dog Construction Services, we thematically celebrate dogs every day. However, August 26th is the official National Dog Day. This day is meant to celebrate all breeds, pure and mixed and serves to help galvanize the public to recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued each year. National Dog Day honors family dogs and dogs that work selflessly to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort. Dogs put their lives on the line every day – for their law enforcement partner, for their blind companion, for the disabled, for our freedom and safety by detecting bombs and drugs and pulling victims of tragedy from wreckage.

In honor of these wonderful companions, please consider adopting a rescue dog today. And be sure to give your current dogs a little extra love and attention!

Parkland Water Damage Restoration

After more than a year of fighting with the insurance company, work is finally under way to repair damage due to flooding in this Parkland home. When complete, the home should be better than it was before!

Southwest Ranches Loft

One of our favorite clients recently purchased a new home in Southwest Ranches. Rather than enjoying the spacious double-high ceiling height in the kitchen, they decided that the space would be better utilized by having a loft on the second floor.

Our project included protecting the existing areas of the home, moving a wall in the laundry room to widen the stairs, adding the loft and then finishing the space with engineered wood flooring.

Stay tuned to check on the progress.

Have a Smile on Your Face

A wagging tail is a sure sign that a dog wants to meet or play. Greet others with a smile on your face and a warm and welcoming attitude. You’ll make a great first impression and be welcomed into any group.
