Big Dog Wins “Luxury Residential” Construction Award
Big Dog was honored to receive an Eagle Award in the "Luxury Residential" category for our construction of a Fort Lauderdale residence.
Designed by renowned Kobi Karp Architecture and constructed by Big Dog Construction Services, this 13,699 sq. ft. fully automated “Smart house” sits on the Intracoastal in Ft. Lauderdale. Unique finishes include pivot front door, frameless interior doors, zero base, free-form hand-sculpted custom plaster 3-story staircase, full stainless catering kitchen, tub carved out of travertine, gym with sauna, 900-gallon aquarium, elevator, cove lighting, infinity pool and two outdoor kitchens.
Broward County Convention Center & Omni Hotel Topping Out
Big Dog celebrated the “Topping Out” of two landmark projects in Fort Lauderdale – over 525,000 square feet of new space added to the Broward County Convention Center and the new Omni Hotel. Big Dog worked under a County Business Enterprise (CBE) contract with ADF International. These projects utilized 7,804 tons of structural steel, including 13 massive trusses, each spanning 180 feet and weighing 40 tons. The trusses were successfully erected on-site with the use of two crawler cranes. Big Dog coordinated ironworkers from 17 unions around the country. US Foods Demo Kitchen & Pantry Completed

Big Dog Wins Award for ABC Building Renovations
Big Dog was honored to receive an Eagle Award for our remodel of the lobby and restrooms at the ABC building in Coconut Creek. Some of our team was in attendance to enjoy the ABC's Awards of Excellence Gala and to receive our award. Congrats to our client Kavita Channe on her growing list of accomplishments. As if being a TV and radio personality, entrepreneur ( Channé Wines ), philanthropist, and mother aren't enough, she has now added author to her biography. ...
Her newest endeavor, Frederick the Hamptons Frog is a joyful children's book sharing a magical, modern story about a family vacationing in the Hamptons. The children and mother learn about friendship and what's important from a lovely frog named Frederick. The book quickly climbed to #1 in several categories of Amazon's book lists after its recent release.
